Cendrowski Corporate Advisors Continues Tax Practice Expansion, Catherine Raker Joins the Firm

Bloomfield Hills, MI – September 12, 2019 – Cendrowski Corporate Advisors (CCA) – a leading accounting, litigation support, risk management, tax, and compliance consulting firm – today added Catherine Raker as a Senior Tax Associate to its growing tax group.

With close to two decades of expertise in corporate, international, and individual tax matters, as well as corporate and public audit experience, Raker will work across the firm’s clients and be based in its Bloomfield Hills office.

“As the depth and breadth of our work with family offices and institutions continues to flourish, so too does our tax team,” Harry Cendrowski, CCA Managing Director, said, “and the international taxation background that Catherine brings is particularly key for clients’ needs today – and tomorrow.”

Prior to joining CCA, Raker spent more than five years as an international tax specialist at Freeman Tax Law, in Birmingham, MI where she analyzed foreign tax treaties to determine reporting requirements exceptions, resolved client tax issues with IRS agents, and supervised the preparation of individual tax forms of U.S. persons as part of more than 100 disclosure cases with international reporting requirements. Previously, she practiced international corporate tax work with Magna Services of America in Troy, MI.

Earlier in her career, she worked in the tax department of General Dynamics in Groton, CT and then Troy, MI, as a Senior Tax Analyst and later as an Audit Specialist. She was also an auditor at Price Waterhouse Coopers, with a focus on manufacturers, mutual funds, and service organizations. Raker is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Michigan. She holds an M.S. in Taxation from Walsh College and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
